I have decided to take a stab at blogging. Mitch has been encouraging me to try it for a long time. I always figured that no one would care what I had to say and my writing skills have gotten a little rusty. However, my dearest friend Lisa mentioned that it would be fun to help us remember Carter’s stages of development and that he himself may enjoy reading it someday. So I ask that all of you out there on the world wide web bear with me as I try this new adventure.
Carter is growing by leaps and bounds. Although he is not able to sit independently quite yet, he is moving all over the place. If he sees something he wants he will roll close to it and then creep forward by digging his toes into the ground. I am pretty sure that crawling is just around the corner. He is especially intrigued by our dog’s toys. After trying so hard for the past 6 months to avoid germs, I am trying to come to terms with all the germs he is encountering.
We are still going through teething. He hasn’t slept through the night for the last two weeks. His first tooth is his bottom right central incisor. I think the left side is coming soon. Carter’s laughs and smiles continue to be irresistible. I look forward to sharing more in the future!
